Found in Genesee County NY, this is a wonderful portrait of Edna Bantle and a clearly signed photo. Her father, George Paul Bantle, was a conductor on the railroad, most likely the Erie Railroad. His parents were Thaddeus Bantle, born in Wurt, Germany and Mary Haberer Bantle, born in New York.

This is a beautiful kid, and a beautiful photo, as well as a great old piece of Bantle and McMurray family history. She married a Canadian, John A. McMurray.
