This is a beautiful Civil War era CDV Photo. Columbus has "hat hair." We believe he just came out fo the fields or off his buggy to have his photo taken, can see the line of his hair in his long locks. This is a beautiful and rare piece with much genealogy info. Just as a note, "Lum" is also a nickname for Columbus. He is also seen as C.C. Orcutt in genealogy records.
