1870's Adolph Heineman Antique Advertising Trade Card, Philadelphia PA

Printed on card: "A. Heineman, Gents Furnishing Goods, 140 N.8th St." This is a beautiful and small litho advertising trade card printed in gold inks. The illustrated wooden archway surrounding the boy has Germany carved in it. The boy appears to be a courier or letter carrier of sorts, with an unusual pipe. The illustrated wooden archway surrounding the boy has the word "GERMANY" carved above. Adolph's store was in a heavily populated German neighborhood area of Philadelphia, and is advertising a German run store for men's clothing and "furnishings.".
