His father, John W. Fogler, Knox County, Maine and Leavenworth, Kansas: Rockland, Maine Courier-Gazette of July 23, 1898 in the “Talk of the Town” column: "Major John W. Fogler, a Knox county boy, of recent years a banker in Leavenworth, Kansas, was among the additional army paymasters appointed by Pesident McKinley. He has just been ordered to Santiago."

His father: John Warren Fogler 1844-1942, born in South Hope, Knox County, Maine and died at age 97 in Skowhegan, Somerset County, Maine. Family Buried at North Cemetery, Skowhegan, Somerset County, Maine. He was a Civil War Veteran of the 14th Maine Infantry. His parents were John Fogler 1810–1894 and Mary Dakin Payson Folger 1812–1899 of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, MN.

His brother in photo: Benjamin Baker Fogler 1886-1947 born in Skowhegan, Somerset County, Maine, and died in Massachusetts, also buried in the North Cemetery, Skowhegan, Somerset County, Maine. He married Berdena Esther Trafton 1883–1947 and they had children Benjamin Baker Fogler 1914–1999, Anne Marston Fogler 1919–1951 and Mary P Fogler 1921–1992.

A beautiful image of 2 brothers, the son of a 14th Maine Infantry soldier John Warren Fogler 1844-1942. It was found in Greenfield, Franklin County Massachusetts in October 2019.
