This is a beautiful advertising Trade card for Henry Tourville's Athol business whereby customers were allowed to embroider their names when giving a fancy new Singer Sewing machine a spin. We found an Effie M. Tolman, born, raised and died in Athol, the only female we in census records with those initials, She was born in 1879 to Henry Tolman & Sarah Tolman, and died in 1946. This beautiful old piece was found in Massachusetts, Hampden County. Also a wonderful early vintage Singer sewing collectible.
