On reverse: "Sarah Ellen Clinkinbeard Miller" is handwritten in old fountain pen ink. (incorrectly spelled as Sarha) Photo type: Victorian Cabinet Card Photograph, circa 1890's. Photographer: E.A. Leach, Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, California. (known to be photographer EA leach or Edwin Alvero Leach 1861-1906, died age 44 and buried in Santa Barbara County, California. He was born in Warren County, Iowa, the son of early Iowa Photographer John A. Leach 1832-1903, who was also a Watchmaker and a Jeweler. Edwin's wife was Elvira Biddle Leach 1861–1950. He also is seen as Edwin A. Leach and Edwin Alvaro Leach)

Sarah Ellen Clinkinbeard Miller 1879-1948: Sarah, who went by Sally or Salley was born on May 11, 1879, in Carmel, California. Her father was Kinzea Stone Clinkinbeard, born in Missouri and her mother was Sara Ella Whitehead 1856–1933, born and died in California. Her many siblings were Mildred Nancy Clinkinbeard 1873–1940; Mary Teresa Clinkinbeard 1875–1931; William Stone Clinkenbeard 1877–1941; Sarah Ellen Clinkinbeard 1879–1948; Olie Anderson Clinkinbeard 1881–1933; Kinzea Stone Clinkinbeard 1884–1936; Nathan Weston Clinkinbeard 1886–1949; Medora Nancy Clinkinbeard 1888–1964; Minerva Jane Clinkinbeard 1891–1937; Olive Ruth Clinkenbeard O'Connor 1893–1982 who married Norman William O'Conner 1897–1974. Sarah married Hale Roy Miller on June 25, 1899, in Saratoga, California at age 20. They had one son Robert James Miller 1904–1999. She died on March 25, 1948, in Santa Cruz, California at age 68.

Her mother, with the exct same name, died age 77 in 1933.
