Photographer: Hotchkiss Portraits, Norwich, Chenango County, New York. (known to be photographer A.E. Hotchkiss or Alston E. Hotchkiss 1846–1907, born in Greene, Chenango County, New York, and died in Norwich NY. He was the son of Jeremiah Hotchkiss 1805–1862 and Fanny Roberts Hotchkiss 1810–1882 originally from Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut. he descends from an important DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution, Revolutionary War family. Alston married Emma I Brainard Hotchkiss 1854–1898 and had a daughter Stella Arleen Hotchkiss McGrath 1874–1940. He had a very booming photography business in Norwich, starting in 1872, and had over 20 employees at one time)

Found in Public Genealogy Records:
Grace L. VanHorn Frink 1885-1975 died aged 90 and is buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Norwich, Chenango County, New York. Her parents were Alembert VanHorne, 1847-1894 (his father born in Germany, his mother in NY) and Julia A. Van Horn, 1855-1899, both parents born in NY). They are also buried at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Her first husband was:
James B. Frink 1883-1925, died aged 41. He was the son of Barton Polk Frink 1844–1889 and Alice Amelia Brown Frink 1851–1923. Their son Harold Alembert Frink 1905-1912 died at age 7. They are buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Norwich, Chenango County, New York. 

Her second husband was:
After her husband died, in 1927 she married Merritt George Daniels 1879–1964, the son of George W Daniels 1850–1928 and Adele Mary Franklin born 1863. His family descends from the family of Nathaniel Daniels 1697–1748 of New London, Connecticut. He died in 1964 and is buried in a Daniels plot.

A beautiful blond Victorian baby girl! Found in Fayetteville, Onondaga County, NY near Syracuse. We do not know the Underwood connection to this family, although there is one. A beautiful old piece of much loved baby Grace at 19 months wearing soft leather high top booties and a homemade lace dress.
