1899 Perry: c. 1900-10 Real Photo Postcard to Mrs. A.H. Perry from Leah & Ina, PA Name on Photo: Real Photo Postcard, circa early 1900's. This is a great image of 2 laughing young women standing in front of a very ornate handwoven 1830's family tapestry and beside them is a young, very blonde and barefoot toddler in a dirty homespun shirt, his hands and shirt covered in what appears to be rasberry or blueberry stains. (This is one of our favorite photos!) Written on back in old dip pen ink is: Mrs. A.H. Perry from Leah and Ina. We rarely see people laughing in vintage photographs and this is a wonderful happy outdoor image of a summer scene. This may be the same woman in item number #907 on our site, or Leah and Ina may be her relatives. We are hoping Perry family researchers can help. We are also assuming this to be taken in Osceola Pennsylvania (Tioga Couny) as the other AH Perry photograph is #907, but that is not for certain. These Perry relatives could be related to other Perry and Baldwin relatives on our site. It was found with a large lot of many photographs in Franklin County, Western Massachusetts, MA. See item numbers #1275, #1276, #907 and #1899 on our site. A wonderful Perry family history photo. Click here to search Ancestorville and buy this lost family item.

1900 White: 1890-1910 Business Card of Real Estate Agent William White, NYC Name printed on advertising business card: William White, Inspector of Real Estate. The Mutual Life Insurance Company of N.Y. Broadway & Liberty Street. Approximate age: 1890-1910. State: New York. County: Kings, Queens, New York & Delaware Counties. Found in a large collection of late 19th and early 20th century printed business related cards in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, MA. Card is printed on heavy old off white cardstock with simple early American typography font. These business cards give a wonderful look into early advertising at the turn of the last century, as well as good genealogy clues. Early Census and business records can also be of help in finding these lost ancestors and their working whereabouts, as well as the gen sites for each specific county. Research into the the architect, building and address they worked at may also provide good clues for date and time period. Real estate dealings in this time period may have been done only by attorneys. A wonderful White family history piece. Click here to search Ancestorville and buy this lost family item.
